Thursday- Dali Inspired

I had a lot of fun with this one. Dali has always been such an inspiration to me when it comes to painting, and well, I havent done layers like this before and when I saw this shot of my face, I knew in my mind what I as about to create.

Headshot

This was taken with natural light in my kitchen. Sepia toned, airbrushed, and upped the curves.

No Time today for a self portrait. But I did manage to take a photo of Squirt sitting on our bed post. High ISO again, but thats no thanks to the crap lighting in my bedroom. Enjoy!

Sticking to My Guns

Day two on my journey to 365 Photography Challenge! I had a rather difficult time capturing this image, as I was shooting in M with an ISO of 1600 in my dimly lit bedroom.

I used a small lamp and pointed it under my chin area to add highlight lighting. There was no post editing except for an unsharp mask on my eyes. :) Here's to tomorrow! Thanks for your support!

The Beginning

I've opened up a blog to document my 365 Journey of Self Photography.

It will not be easy, to say the least, it will be a CHALLENGE. However, I will not give up easily. This is something I've talked about doing for quite some time. The past couple of years but never actually planted my foot on the ground and shouted 'YES!' Well no more procrastination. Its time to shine! Here's the first photo, along with a very liberating hair cut; taking off more than 10 inches in length! What a way to start off this blog! Thanks for all your support.
